When you subscribe to the Runamuk blog or to Sparkling Audacity, you’re supporting a single-mom and solo-farmer. You’re supporting local agriculture and helping to increase access to locally produced food in the western region of Maine. Most importantly, you are directly supporting conservation efforts at Runamuk Acres. My writing is an extension of my work as farmer and steward of this ecological reserve in Maine, and it is my intention to use those wordsmithing skills to aid in fundraising to benefit my conservation efforts.

I don’t copyright or watermark my photos, you are free to use them in any way you wish. The same goes for my blog posts, feel free to share them if you wish, a credit is appreciated.

It took me a long time to accept being paid for my work, but it is a good thing. And necessary.

Voluntary Payments

I think these payment options speak for themselves. I will add that I have no access to your money, I can’t start or stop subscription payment. No financial information is stored on my site or server. If you wish to renew or cancel your subscription, you can do so at any time. You can manage your subscriptions easily by logging in to your account at anytime.

There’s a one-time payment option, for any amount you wish. And of course, people who don’t wish to send money online can contribute via USPS:

I also want to say that the blog is free – you can have it delivered to your email inbox by entering your e-mail address into the box in the side-bar. You don’t ever need to pay me to receive updates from the farm. So many of you have been with me from the beginning, I will never walk away from you.

We also offer a one-time donation option in any amount for those people who can’t afford regular payments in any amount or don’t wish to contribute in that way. If you would like to support the blog or my conservation efforts, your donations would be helpful, it is expensive to be a farmer and steward. Small one-time donations add up.
