Runamuk Acres Conservation Farm

Bee-friendly farming for a sustainable tomorrow

Welcome to the Runamuk Acres Conservation Farm!

Runamuk Acres is a family-owned farm run by Samantha Burns, with her son, BraeTek. Located amid the mountains of Western Maine, we produce mixed vegetables, fresh eggs and pastured lamb on our 53-acres. To promote the well-being of beneficial insects and soil microbial life, Runamuk practices methods of regenerative agriculture. We believe that the conservation of these keystone species allows for the development of a more sustainable agricultural ecosystem which coexists in harmony with its larger ecosystem and ecoregion.

In 2020, conservation lands at Runamuk Acres were contracted to the USDA/NRCS for a 50-year commitment to wildlife preservation. With miles of trails running through the conservation lands, open to hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, or biking, we offer visitors a chance to connect with nature. Visitors can enjoy birdwatching, view wildlife, and connect with nature in this private wildlife preserve. With a remote campsite available, and an on-site farmstand, the Runamuk Acres Conservation Farm welcomes visitors year-round.
