Understanding Our Lingo: “Classes” vs “Workshops” vs “Events”

  • Classes are 3-4 hour sessions on the farm, usually in the morning. They can be a one-on-one session, or a small group (never more than 12 people in a class) of participants.
  • Workshops are day-long in-depth courses that run from 8am to 4pm. Runamuk provides coffee and snacks, as well as lunch. May come with a reference manual and/or a variety of useful handouts.
  • Events tend to be free and open to the public, celebrations of life, love, and nature.
